With both Ferry Renegades & Tonmawr Dragonvets having opposition pull outs during the week a last minute hurried fixture was arranged between the 2, and what a cracker it was👏. Pace structure, skills & commendable discipline throughout again. Everything that VETS rugby stands for. Congratulations to Tonmawr for taking the victory and thank you for stepping in to join us.

Renegades kicked of 2026 season this month with the first block of 2 evenings of home games welcoming Brackla Magpies & Tonmawr Dragonvets.
2 fast paced close encounters played in impeccable Vets spirit. (a tribute to the Vets rugby ethos).
Some impressive plays and trys scored across all teams.
The 2 evenings saw 40 middle to old aged men taking part with smiles on faces & aches in the legs, ages from 35 to 65+ proving its a successful format for all.
A pleasure to host such great spirited teams & thanks to Logan Low for officiating 👏
