🚲 PLEASE SHARE – BIKE TAKEN FROM SBL SPORTS CENTRE, OLDLAND COMMON BY ACCIDENT!

We’re asking for the local community’s help following the collection of a student’s black mountain bike from SBL Sports Centre yesterday morning.

We believe this may have been taken by mistake while advertised chairs were being collected, and we’re simply asking for the bike to be returned.

If you collected the chairs, and see this post please can you return the bike to the reception desk or get in touch with us directly.

Please share to help us get the bike back to its owner. Thank you 💙

📢 FREE CHAIRS – FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED! 🪑
SBL Academy is having a clear-out and we have a selection of chairs available FREE to anyone who would like them.
They have been left by the bins in the Sports Centre car park, and there are more available than shown in the photo. Some are in better condition than others, so please have a look and take whichever ones are suitable for you.

⚠️ Please DO NOT take the orange chairs – the backs bend and they are unsafe.
All other chairs are free to the first takers and are taken as seen.

And one final request… once you’ve taken them, please don’t bring them back! 😄

Feel free to come along and help yourself while they’re still available.

Self-Employed Basketball Coach Wanted at SBL Sports Centre Team!

SBL Sports Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable self-employed Basketball Coach to deliver a fun new weekly basketball session.

This is a great opportunity for a coach who enjoys working with players of all abilities aged 4yrs to 18yrs with a passionate about developing skills in a positive and inclusive environment.

About the Role
Create a welcoming environment that encourages participation, confidence and skill development.
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and a love of basketball.
Essential Requirements
Basketball coaching experience.
A recognised basketball coaching qualification, or working towards one.
Good communication and organisational skills.
A valid Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one if coaching children.
Own Public Liability Insurance (Professional Indemnity Insurance desirable).
First aid qualifications are an advantage.
