London Marathon 2025 – 03:37:16
A day I will never forget.
I was loving every minute of the race until around the 27km mark when I hit the dreaded wall 😂. But remembering why I was running — and thinking of all the people who had donated and supported me — helped carry me through. 💛1️⃣3️⃣💚
A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped raise awareness for
Your support truly meant the world.
Running a marathon has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been amazed by what the human body can achieve — mine has never said “no” to me; it’s always given 100%.
When I was 9 years old, I had a serious horse riding accident that left me in a coma. Doctors didn’t know if I would wake up, or what lasting injuries I might have. When I finally came out of the coma, I was paralysed down my right side and unable to speak. After months of rehabilitation, I slowly regained movement and learned to speak again.
So, as you can imagine, crossing the finish line was emotional for two huge reasons: in memory of Luke and the amazing person he was ❤️, and because it was a personal milestone. At 9 years old, I was unsure if I would ever walk again — let alone run a marathon.
Finally a massive thank you to .w_training for always believing in me, pushing me beyond my limits, and helping turn my fitness dreams into reality.
