We’re delighted to announce that Moon Rivers will be providing the live soundtrack to our end of season awards and celebrations on:

Congratulations to Lee Farmer, who has booked his place in the 2026 Sartan Golf - GOLF GEAR GIVEAWAYS | Singles Championship Final after another superb performance in his semi-final fixture last night.

What a season this man is having.

Lee has been producing some outstanding golf throughout Season ###II, with an event victory at Orchardleigh, a second place finish at Erlestoke, a run to the Semi Finals of the Doubles Championship alongside Craig Darbon and now a place in one of the biggest individual matches of the season.

His latest victory is another fine performance in what is proving to be an exceptional year for one of the elite golfers within the Sartan ranks.

The Sartan Golf Singles Championship, proudly sponsored by Golf Gear Giveaways, has reached the Semi Finals, and this one promises to be an absolute battle.

Ryan arrives with an incredible Sartan résumé. A five-time major champion, Chairman and one of the society's elite low-handicap golfers, he's now chasing major title number six.

Standing in his way is Lee Farmer, who has been in sensational form throughout Season ###II. The annual Sartan Golf Captains Weekend is almost here, as we head across the bridge to South Wales for two days of golf, competition and everything else that tends to come with a Sartan weekend away. 🍻

We kick things off at the Harry C**t designed Clyne, a spectacular moorland course overlooking Swansea, the Bristol Channel, Mumbles, the Brecon Beacons and Gower Peninsula.

⛳ DAY TWO | SATURDAY 19 SEPTEMBER
Neath Golf Club
Then it’s on to Neath for round two. A classic James Braid design featuring trees, heather, gorse, dry stone walls and undulating greens.

But there’s an even bigger prize at stake across the two days...

PLAYER OF THE YEAR – AFTER ROUND SIX 🏆

The race for the Bredent Player of the Year title couldn’t be much closer heading into the season finale.

Craig Darbon leads the standings on 162 points, but Paul Wollacott and Erlestoke winner Dave Paramore are just two points behind on 160.

Phil Groves and Connor Wilkins remain firmly in contention on 159, with Lee Farmer only another point back following his runner-up finish at Erlestoke.

Captain Karim Champsi, Martin Curran, Lee Chapman and Tony Carter complete an incredibly competitive top ten – with just eight points separating the top 10.

With the best five scores counting towards the final standings, everything remains up for grabs at Captains' Weekend and our final event at Raglan in October.

One big performance could completely reshape the table and decide who lifts the Player of the Year trophy.
