Fantastic results for Colin Freeman, winning all 4 finals! Never before achieved - winning the "Novices" and Championship Finals in the same year!

A great fun day on Saturday, when we were pleased to welcome 10 members of the newly reformed St. George's Park Bowlers. ([email protected]) to join us in an umbrella game.
Despite thunder and lightning, an hour before playing, the weather was kind and the BBQ a resounding success, thanks to Nick and Heather White.
The gazebo kept us dry before the game but collapsed, luckily before the BBQ was lit!
Hopefully St George will be forming a team in the not too distant future and we look forward to future friendlies against them.

Congratulations to Mary Walters , Sarah Pattenden , Paul Gay & Kyle Wisset on winning today's open tournament at Purnell's Paulton!
Well done, also to Andy Nicholls and Jackie Nicholls, Martyn Seabourne and Don Willcox on 3rd place.
A huge thank you again to Purnell's & the Dorset Resort for once again staging such a great event!

Congratulations to everyone involved with bringing St. George Bowls Club back to life!
Some of our old bowls, polished, new stickers and back in use!
Great job in refurbishing the bar/clubhouse.
Really looking forward to playing there again.

Congratulations to Sarah and Derek!
Sarah Pattenden & Derek Turner have both been selected to play for Bowls England in 2 Celebration matches this summer!
Sarah's Double Counties Singles successes have made her an obvious choice for selection whilst Derek's many years of volunteering/acting as County/Club representative have also been recognised by BE.
Well deserved recognition by both!
