The Tigers were back in action yesterday evening with a fantastic 29-16 victory over the Fry's Div 9 team in another friendly 🧡🖤🐯

From the first whistle, Tigers set the pace with a quick, consistent performance. Our nimble mid-court battled relentlessly throughout, creating countless opportunities and keeping the pressure on the opposition.

Our shooters were on fine form, converting chances and finishing with an impressive 29 goals.

At the other end of the court, our dominant defence was rock solid, making life incredibly difficult for Fry's.

A brilliant team performance all round - well done, girls! And let's be honest, you probably appreciated all that running around after the temperature dropped to a positively chilly 21°C 😄💪🏽🐯

Player of the match went to Zia 🙌🏼🙌🏼 which was very well deserved.

A fantastic morning of netball for our Tigers Netball Club - Bristol Division 8 squad 🧡🖤

The Team faced some strong opposition from clubs across the country, including a Regional 2 side, and put in some outstanding performances throughout the day.

After a few understandable early nerves, the girls settled quickly and played with the confidence, teamwork and determination we've come to expect from them. They should all be incredibly proud of how they competed.

With a squad made up almost entirely of teenagers (plus one 21-year-old!), they more than held their own against experienced opposition and now look forward to competing in the Plate competition tomorrow.

Good luck, girls - we're all behind you 👏🏽🏐🧡

🧡🏐 Summer League Match 🏐🧡

A huge well done to our Tigers Netball Club adult squad who took on Winterbourne this week in the Bradley Stoke Summer League ☀️🥵

Despite having just 7 players and playing in sweltering heat, the girls put in a fantastic performance. They led by 2 goals at the end of both the first and second quarters, showing great teamwork, determination and some excellent netball 💪🏽👏🏽

The heat,and having no substitutes, eventually took its toll, but every player gave absolutely everything right until the final whistle. We couldn't be prouder of the effort and commitment shown by the whole team 🧡

A massive thank you to Georgia, Lottie, Navya and Freya for stepping in to help the team out at short notice - your support was hugely appreciated ⭐

We hope everyone recovers quickly after such a tough evening...it really was a scorcher! 🥵☀️

🧡🏐 U16 End of Season Tournament 🏐🧡

Our U16 squad, made up of players from both Tigers Netball Club teams, took to the court this weekend for the End of Season Tournament. With games lasting just 9 minutes one way, there was no time to ease into things - the girls needed to start strong from the first whistle 💪🏽🔥

And that's exactly what they did 👏🏽

The team put in a fantastic performance throughout the group stages, winning all 5 matches to secure their place in the final 🏆✨

Every player should be incredibly proud of their efforts. The standard of netball on display was excellent, with great movement, accurate passing, strong teamwork and some lovely passages of play throughout the day 🤩🙌

The final saw us face a strong Crossbow Netball Club A side. Despite giving it everything and battling hard until the end, the result didn't quite go our way.

However, finishing as tournament runners-up is a fantastic achievement and a fitting way to round off the season🥈🧡

Well done girls - you represented Tigers brilliantly and should all be very proud of yourselves 🐯🏐👏

🧡 U16 Orange - Congrats on a great end of Season 🧡

This season brought plenty of challenges for our Tigers Netball U16 Orange team, with a newly formed squad and some gaps in key playing positions at the start of the year. The girls embraced those challenges brilliantly, with several players stepping out of their comfort zones to learn new positions and do whatever was needed for the team.

While results didn't always go their way, the players showed real determination and commitment throughout the season. Their confidence, teamwork and understanding of the game grew week by week, and by the end of the season they were competing strongly and pushing teams all the way.

What stood out most was the team's resilience and positive attitude. The girls continued to support one another, work hard in training and never stopped giving their best, regardless of the scoreline.

A huge well done to all of the players for their effort, commitment and willingness to keep developing throughout the season. As some move on to adult netball, they do so with valuable experience and memories. Those remaining at U16 level have built strong foundations and have every reason to be excited about next season.
