UKAO Archives 2015-2022 UK Active Outdoors archives older photo and video albums from before the Merge of Battle Archery and Adventure SUP back in 2022. Thank you for your support.

With Battle Archery now gone, We will continue to upload posts on here to our followers. We are an expanding company run by two outdoor enthusiasts next to Avon Valley Farm, between Bath and Bristol. We provide the ultimate service and activities. We also work alongside with various other companies to bring a unique experience at our location. We have three important ethos that we follow:

1. To r

educe our carbon footprint to protect the environment and promote circular economy (80% of our site is recycled and reclaimed materials).

2. To ensure you walk away with a smile (Customer service is very important to us. We put in 110% into all our sessions and make sure you have a fantastic time and are well looked after).

3. To do our best to accommodate people of all ages and abilities into all our activities. Whether you are a stag do or hen do, corporate event, charities or a group of friends and family looking for something new and unique, UKAO may just be what you're looking for!! At Vobster Quays, the swimming guys require some water safety for part of a 12 hour swim. If you're interested, I'll pass your details over. You can either be on SUP boards or kayaks

Summary:
I am in need of a couple of water safety guys to cover the night element of our 12 hour swim on Saturday July 13th.

Would obviously pay them appropriately and will provide them with food and hot drinks etc. Will probably be on the water between the hours of 10-12 at night but until entry closes won't know how many swimmers that will be for.

If the could be on site from 2030 then they will be well fed and watered before going on to the water.

Will be much easier that the Glow Swim and just need them out patroling on the lake.

If you could persuade a couple of people I would be most grateful.

We are opening up our Archery sessions for retirees every Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting on the 14th June 9:45am.
All abilities welcome. We have wheelchair access as well as x2 archery aids to help people who do not have a lot of upper body strength.
