The World Equestrian Games in Aachen this year has been absolutely fantastic . I was lucky to have gone with the Singapore Dressage crew. The whole set up and especially the opening ceremony was amazing . I also managed to walk a lot of the Xc and it definitely is not to be underestimated. Let hope Team GB continues to bring home the medals 💪

What a fantastic day we all had on the Adam and Trudi day course . The subject was know your horse know yourself. We covered learning styles, goal setting and working horses in hot weather .
We kicked off at 8.30 am with a talk and an exercise on learning styles with Trudi . Everyone had a flat lesson with Adam followed by lunch and a lecturer. The afternoon comprised of poll work focusing on suppleness and longevity, all topped off with cake and reflection .

Sadly at the grand old age of 30 Leighland Portia crossed the rainbow bridge on Wednesday evening . She was born at Moor Farm in 1996 and was the last horse Catherine Brown bred before she passed away . Portia’s Mum Leighland Miranda was the first horse I professionally rode for an owner. The Leighlands have defined my career and where I live . Thank you Portia for being strong willed , sassy and at times testing our patience! She was tough, happy and the ultimate nosey neighbour right to the end . Her four foals Pascal , Pearl, Xavier and Melody have all been successful and still live at Moor farm.

A win 🏆 today at Portman Horse Trials 🥳🥳 It was MeMe and Hectors first run since the 2star at Bicton. She looked much more of a pro today 💪
