Big moment in the lineup last week - back on a board for the first time since shoulder surgery in April! 🙌🌊
 
He hadn’t been able to paddle before the op, so this was also his first time on a shortboard in a long time!
 
And where better to ease back in than on a controlled, predictable wave? 
 
Love seeing this kind of comeback happen at The Wave. Welcome back, cotty! 💪

Our lifeguard Beth Breeden jumped in to save a baby seagull that got stuck during our Expert Barrels session over the weekend!
 
Hopefully the seagull’s learned his lesson: don’t paddle out on the big waves until you’re ready! 🌊

Log Fridays at The Wave 🌊

Our Longboarding session is part of July’s Monthly Mix-up, happening at 7 pm on Fridays.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to practice your cross-stepping and hang 5s on a cruisey wave, plus it’s a chance to connect with other longboard lovers 🫶
