“I recently completed The Wave Academy Progression Week at The Wave on the Intermediate Plus sessions with coaches Sam and Lizzy, and it genuinely helped take my surfing to the next level. Over the course of the week, I progressed from comfortably riding the intermediate wave to being able to bottom turn and even land a cutback on the advanced wave. (Well, almost!)

What made the week so effective was the structure. The land-based surf skate and yoga sessions translated directly into the water and helped massively with confidence, balance, and technique. The video analysis sessions were also incredibly valuable, as they made it much easier to understand where I could improve.

Having the same coaches throughout the entire week was a game changer for long-term progression. Sam and Lizzy were both fantastic coaches, supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me improve”

Surfing England Para Surfing Roadshow at The Wave 🌊

From day one, we built The Wave with one belief: waves are for everyone.

Seven years on, that hasn't changed - and being part of the 2026 Para Roadshow with Surfing England has been a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.

Watching riders of all abilities take to the waves over the past two days - many trying surfing for the first time - has been nothing short of incredible.

A huge thank you to the whole team at Surfing England - we're proud to keep riding this journey together 🤙
