Grass roots club based in Bristol, looking to recruit players of all abilities.

Bristol Barbarians RFC currently run one senior XV and are looking to expand to more teams this season. What we can promise:

Great banter and camaraderie
Free Food
80 new mates
Super socials and team days
Training facilities and club house


Training is from 6.30- 9pm on Wednesday evenings with games every Saturday. New league to be announced soon

I’ve been there for 17 years at least!

Best memory?

Winning the league and cup.

Best dressed teammate?

My man Brandon.

Worst dressed teammate?

Homeless man Gimly.

Any superstitions?

I like to relax with my “vape” pre game, and a nice brush if the new teeth!

Aim for the season ahead?

To compete top 5 of the league.

Too long to remember!

Best memory at the club?

Best memory is winning the league and the combination bowl, then being selected to captain the Bristol combination.

Best dressed teammate?

I would have to say Mark Belton.

Worst dressed teammate?

Sorry but has to be Gimly.


Aim for the season?

It is to get back in the mix (playing) and charge up the league.

How long have you been at Barbarians?

Too long. But I throughly enjoy it.

Best memory?

Watching my main man Gimly score his first try for the club.

Best dressed teammate?

Mark Belton, it’s only fitting for a man of 80yrs old he dresses like a Victorian.

Worst dressed?

Me, and Gimly.

Aim for this season?

Keep my position on the bench, and when called upon leave everything out there. Also stay and have a beer with the lads.
