🏏 ONE FINAL WEEKEND! 🏏
As we head into the final games of the season, it’s time to look back on what has been a fantastic year for Downend Cricket Club. 💛💚
🟢 1st XI – A fantastic season, just missing out on promotion and fighting right until the end at the top of the table.
🟢 2nd XI – Their first ever season playing WEPL cricket, taking on a new challenge and competing at a higher level.
🟢 3rd XI – A brilliant campaign, challenging for promotion all the way until the final stages of the season and just missing out.
🟢 4th XI – After several years without one, we were delighted to field a 4th team again. A huge positive for the club and a great reflection of the growth of our junior section.
It’s been a season packed with cricket, competition, development and plenty of memorable moments across the club. 👏
And none of it would be possible without the people behind the scenes. A massive thank you to all our coaches, volunteers, scorers, parents, ground staff and bar staff for everything you’ve done throughout the season. And of course, a huge thank you to all our sponsors for their continued support of Downend Cricket Club. 🙌
Now it’s time for one final weekend of cricket. Good luck to all four teams — let’s finish the season on a high! 🏏
