Bristol Pickleball Club Pickleball is a racquet sport from the USA combining elements of badminton, tennis & table tennis.

Pickleball is a racquet sport of American origin that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis played on a badminton sized court by men and women in doubles and singles. The sport holds tournaments internationally as well as festivals and has become the fastest growing racquet sport in the world. Bristol is now a well established location to play pickleball in the UK alongside the i

ncreasing number of other clubs. The sport is lower resistance on the body compared to tennis and badminton so it appeals to a wider audience of all ages. Our weekly sessions include:

Marlwood School, Alveston - Tuesdays 19:30-21:30 - Advanced 3.5+

Orchard School, Horfield - Wednesdays 19:00-21:00 - Beginners and Improver Training

Mangotsfield School, Rodway Hill - Wednesdays 19:30-21:30 - Improver & Intermediate Social Play

Trinity Academy, Lockleaze - Fridays - Social Play
18:00-19:30 - Improvers
19:30-21:30 - Intermediate/Advanced

To join as a full fledged member of the Bristol Pickleball Club, you will need to either complete our 3-week intro to pickleball course OR attend an assessment session with one of our wonderful coaches 🤩

BPC membership is yours if you satisfy the above with a very very very low price of….. £20! 👻👻👻

If you are already a current member of BPC, you will have to renew your memberships before 30 June 2026 to secure your 2027 membership 🫣

Both teams fought some really tough opponents but everyone had such an amazing time nonetheless 💪🏼

This is the end of the South West Pickleball League before the grand finale between the top two teams in the league! 🤫
Bristol B finishes the league at Division 3 and Bristol Blues top Division 1 which means……. they will be at the playoffs against the fierce Torquay Raptors!!!! 🤯🎉🙏☀️

Mr Pickles has now returned from his first holiday overseas of 2026 on the beautiful island of Cyprus. Staying in a villa in the hills above Paphos and visiting many of the archeological sites, playing a bit of pickleball and enjoying the sunsets.

Big weekend of participation in local leagues by BPC players and associates just gone:
South West Pickleball League and Gloucester Pickleball League.
Hard fought games all round by our 2 teams in different divisions but we can hold our heads up in pride at strong performances by all the BPC players:
Dan H, Charlie, Matty, Kiara, Jeanette, Pam, Andy H, James P, Gwen, Kate M, Sue, Graham, Jo Jo, Ian Mc and Adam.
Final round of SWPL coming in May with good chance of making it through to National finals. Let's do it!!!
