🔶🔳 And just like that, the lights on Synergi Training Centre 1.0 go out forever!🔳🔶

🔳 First off, Josh and I would like to say a HUGE and heartfelt thank you to each and every single one of you that have made our journey this far not just incredible but also truly fulfilling.
We are in such a privileged position in what we do that getting up at 05:00 every day has never felt easier because of you amazing, wonderful humans!

🔶 Over the past 9 years we’ve had many trials and tribulations, difficulties and challenges to overcome but throughput all this, the one constant was you guys. Our amazing community of people who help us to try and be better, to try and give more and to continue to do everything we can to help those who need it, in becoming healthier!

🔳 For all the emotions as we turned the lights off for the last time, the biggest one is excitement in what we are about to create with our next venture and bringing more passionate people with us who are only going to improve upon what we already have.

🔶 Lastly guys, we really do want you to know how important you all are and how we aim to not just continue but make this next step way more special.
We have only ever had one goal, and that’s to make a real difference and we will continue this on a bigger scale, with more of a community and with more commitment to you amazing people!

--- EPIC TRANSFORMATION! ---

We'd like to say a HUGE WELL DONE to Keri-ann Marie Oakes who has absolutely smashed the last 10 weeks with us and looks amazing!

Her goal was to overhaul her lifestyle, feel the fittest and healthiest she's ever been, lose a bunch of body fat and increase her strength so that she can have confidence in her own capabilities!

Over these 10 weeks she's dropped 8kgs and vastly improved both her strength and her cardio fitness! Running is no longer an uncomfortable chore and she can enjoy regular exercise and activity as part of her lifestyle! Her bodyfat % dropped from just over 25% to just under 21% which is fantastic and healthy. We're over the moon.

We worked closely together to get her eating the right portions of food with a plan that was varied and exciting enough to not feel restrictive or boring! I can genuinely say she did not have any cheat meals on her plan for the whole 10 weeks! (there was the odd oops had a bite of xyz tho ha!)

Going forward we're continuing to work together with a weekly session on Mondays to set each week up for continued progress to help her achieve her stretch goals that she's discovered she's hungry for!

It's been an absolute pleasure to work with Keri-ann Marie Oakes and I couldn't be prouder of the results she's achieved! Well done :D

WIM HOF workshop is finally happening!!!

As most of you know, I’ve been practicing cold therapy & for a few years now. I’ve even done a Workshop with the awesome Gus of 🫁 Breath & Ice 🧊.

There are so many benefits to the Wim Hof method so I’m super excited to announce there will be 10 spaces available for a workshop in either April or May.

🍱 CALORIE TRACKING 🍱

Simon had his 40th Birthday yesterday and in his own words, feels better than he’s ever done!

🔂Understanding energy balance and tracking your nutrition properly

Although Simon has trained with me for years, being very committed to his training throughout that time, he’s always maintained he eats a balanced and healthy diet so didn’t necessarily want to track his calories. After a stressful couple of years and with his 40th birthday round the corner, aware of his age we made a plan to ensure that he’s in his beat shape ever for such a big birthday.

Over the past 16 weeks Simon has lost an incredible 18.1kgs going from;

✅ 99.5kgs to 81.4kgs

He did this by ensuring he tracks and understands his calorie intake and energy balance.
Yes it’s not always fun but the reality is, much like financial budgeting, if you know and more importantly understand what’s going in and out, it’s far simpler to ensure success.
Another positive impact of tracking his calories was ensuring he never missed a workout, a run or even stretching. Once you’re fully focused it tends to impact all areas and that makes a massive difference to the end result!

🎄 🎄Christmas offer 🎄 🎄

🎅 With Christmas always being a slow period for people’s fitness we decided this year we’re going to turn it on it’s head and make it an epic period instead!

🎄The Offer is 10 weeks of Training broken into 2 Segments. Pre Christmas 3 Weeks of prep and build, getting the fundamentals in place and preparing the mind for the January push! And then 7 weeks in the new year to really push the limit of CHANGING your body for 2022!

--- NEW 10 WEEK TRANSFORMATION! --- AND NEW PROGRAM OFFERS!

A huge well done to Jon for his EPIC transformation! He dropped 10kgs and really improved his muscularity over the intensive period with us!

Jon came to us feeling very out of shape and at a low point heading up to his upcoming wedding! Having not stepped in a gym for over 10 years he needed guidance and accountability. This man put in a tremendous effort whilst we navigated around both his personal and work commitments! (I don't think we've had a transformation before where the stag do and a weeks holiday land in the middle of it all!)

Our goal was to get him feeling confident and sharp for his big day and give him all the tools and knowledge needed to keep his gains afterwards! We're super proud and impressed by what he's managed to do! 💪

At Synergi we've been planning away at how to tackle the upcoming festive months knowing the challenges we've observed clients having over the years!

We've come up with a twist on our usual body transformation!

We will offer a SPLIT TRANSFORMATION running up to the Christmas week and then provide a 2 week re-balance in the first 2 weeks of the new year! We feel this will allow us to get people in great shape running up to Christmas and make better decisions when it comes to your health and fitness!

I'm sure you all know that feeling of postponing a fitness uptake until after Xmas or New Year - But with our split plan you'll be able to get straight on it and not find yourself feeling doubly behind when you get going! Then there is a bonus of having us bounce you straight back on track after the inevitable Christmas derailing!

✅ Do what makes you feel your best rather than focusing on how you look!

Sam came to me a year ago with a goal of wanting to feel the best he’s ever felt when he gets to 40!….. today is that day.

✅This is the result of twelve months, focusing on implementing small habitual changes. Creating positive, fun ways to become healthier and fitter.
From mobility, posture and stretching, mindfulness and enjoying the process of nutrition.

❌ More often we tend to focus on how we want to look rather than what will make us feel and function our best. This is such a false economy and often leads to us both chasing our tales and getting frustrated at times when things aren’t going smoothly.

✅ Lifestyle focus -
Reducing stress where possible through mindfulness.
Enjoying the process of cooking and understanding nutrition as well as energy balance (calories in - calories out)
Implementing small but easy healthy habits.

✅Training focus -
To remove imbalances.
Improve posture.
Create better core engagement.
habitual stretching and release work.
varied sessions from running, circuits training as well as weights and callisthenics (body weight).

I couldn’t be prouder of how Sam how approached and embraced this last 12 months. Despite having ups and downs, as is expected in life, he’s always asked questions, wanted to learn and most importantly been consistent. Here’s to the next decade Sam.

🧊 🫁 Self care & recovery 🫁 🧊

❤️‍🩹 I’ve been feeling a bit beat up towards the tail end of this week so opted for a nice,,,, if not chilly 🥶 Ice bath.
