Seems the summer species are still in full force with the high water temperatures.

Tuesday 20th October will be a look for a cod trip. Good tides and nice forecast let’s see if there’s any on the reefs.
Also be an array of other species to be caught.

It’s fishing so well in the upper reaches of the Bristol Channel at the moment with the summer species in full flow.
The winter species should start arriving very soon with already a few mini codling and whiting making an appearance.

A couple of days back on the bigger fish double figure hounds and blondes bass to 9lb and plenty of everything else and still not many doggies 🥳.

A nice day on channel Explorer with the lighter gear today catching a lot of fish.
Some nice sole landed with bass codling whiting rays and congers and a fair few two at a time on Pennels.

Channels alive on the mixed fishing trips at the moment.
Well done to will and his crew having a fantastic day yesterday with non-stop action.
We have x4 spaces available this coming Friday on mixed fishing looking for bass blondes hounds etc.
8am-4pm.

Up and coming availability on channel Explorer as we move into the autumn with plenty of fish about.
Bass are still plentiful there’s still sole showing now’s normally when we get the big ones.
The whiting are already showing so should be some big eels and Huss following them or even a cod or two and as always tonnes of rays to be caught. Good news also the dogfish are currently very thin on the ground.
Who knows what else may turn up this time of year.
