ANDDDDD THATS A WRAP!!

Naomi Fox Swimming Coach has taught the last lesson and has closed its doors . After 12 years of teaching it’s time to hang up my wetsuit and pursue a different career path in canine behaviour and psychology . As many of you know I started teaching after my boyfriend, Trevor , drowned in a surfing accident in 2006 and I can only hope he’d be proud of the direction I took. It’s certainly kept me busy and to be so involved with drowning prevention in my teaching and RNLI work has been a real privilege.

A huge THANK YOU to all of my wonderful customers over the years , I’ve loved ( almost) every minute of it and made some great friends ❤️

UPDATE : Hello swimmers 🏊🏻‍♀️. Just a little update on the situation. As you all know I have decided to stop teaching completely and move on to a new career challenge working with dogs .

The Club are now advertising for a new swimming instructor to fill my shoes. I know a lot of you have said that you are struggling to find replacement lessons elsewhere but don’t panic 😃.

The best port of call is Debi the fitness manager at the club on 01934834343 ext 4 ext 2.

My last lesson is November 26 th Xx

Hi All . I have contacted you all individually of course but just a quick post to say that

“Naomi Fox Swimming Coach”

Will be closing for business on November 20 th . All lessons that have been paid for will have been honoured by then and no more payments will be being taken as from today .

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your custom and support and lovely gifts, cards and paintings over the last 8 years. I feel very blessed to have met you all and to have had the pleasure of teaching your children

I am closing to focus on my new career in canine psychology and training

All done for another year . I always moan for at least a week before hand but always enjoy it on the day 🤓🙈. Relentless CPR in this heat was a bit sweaty though. Thank goodness for the pool rescue session afterwards !

Here we are in the last week of term for the school year. I'm not quite sure how that happened so quickly?! 😅😅😅

Those of you who’s certificate I didn't have in my folder will have yours hand delivered at the end of this week. Sorry the P&P for the certificates is so expensive I can't get them here for today and tomorrow. £19 for next day delivery 🙆‍♀️.

It will be an emotional week as I have 4 pupils who have been with me since they were so tiny but have now reached their Stage 7 and will be leaving swimming lessons having made huge accomplishments. A massive Well Done to Ella, Chloe, Gracie and Rhys for your great progress over the years. You are my little stars 🌟!

Next term I will be working less hours in the water as per my last post and I am so excited to be able to work these 8 lessons a week alongside my new career in Dog Training. What a lovely combination! Swimming with children and playing with dogs! I feel truly blessed to be able to have made a career out of both of my first loves 💖

Hello All. After being a swimming teacher for over a decade , I’ve decided to throw myself in to a different career and keep my lessons to a minimum and possibly fade them out over time as the children reach their goals. I have loved it so much but it is hard work and us teachers catch so many viral illnesses coupled with not earning at all in the 13 weeks of holidays a year 🙈. A lot of my swimmers will be reaching their stage 7 by the end of this term so will be leaving anyway . I will be continuing with 2 hours on a Monday 4-6 pm and 2 hours on a Tuesday 4-6 pm for the foreseeable future while I spend the rest of my time studying to work with dogs 🐶. Thank you for your support and custom over the years ! See you at the pool 🏊🏻‍♀️💦💦💦🌊
