Well, since "reddit-gate" a couple of weeks ago, I've made some tweaks and hopefully you've noticed Strava getting updated with your parkrun results a bit faster!

Sadly it can't go faster than the amount of time it takes race directors to publish their results!

Thanks for your patience today, parkrunners! I know I've usually updated your results by now, but there are twice as many people using the service (since last week) and I've had to make some modifications! 😅

In the meantime, tell me how your parkrun went today! I went to Blaise Castle parkrun again, where we crossed-paths with lots of brave people competing in the Green Man Ultra.

Hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed a parkrun or two!

A quick update this week:
🔢 We now track repeated achievements (like your second Alphabeteer!)
🧪 The Periodic Table Challenge is now recognised
🏃‍♀️ Bushy Pilgrimage is in there too

And I've made a few tweaks to things like "Tons of Runs" so it's clearer what they mean

Blaise Castle parkrun was cancelled today thanks to other people needing the space (the horror), so I put on my tourism shoes and travelled to the other side of Bristol. As it was I enjoyed a very sunny Pomphrey Hill parkrun instead. Thanks to all the volunteers who make this possible - I can't imagine Saturday morning without it! --Steve
