🧤 SUMMER 2026 | THAT’S A WRAP! 🧤

What a summer it’s been for LAGK1 Goalkeeper Coaching! 💚

As the summer 1-2-1 and small group sessions come to an end, I just want to say a massive thank you to every goalkeeper and parent who has supported LAGK1 throughout the holidays.

This summer has brought some huge milestones:
⚽️ New goalkeepers joining the LAGK1 family
🧤 Countless 1-2-1 & small group sessions delivered
📈 Goalkeepers developing their confidence, technique & decision-making
🏆 My first ever LAGK1 Goalkeeper Day
🤝 Continued partnerships and opportunities within the local football community
🚀 And plenty more exciting plans taking shape…

The biggest thing for me is seeing goalkeepers walk away from sessions more confident than when they arrived. That’s what it’s all about.

A huge thank you to every GK who has put in the work, challenged themselves and trusted me with their development and to all the parents for your continued support, encouragement and belief in what I’m building.

🧤 A MILESTONE FOR LAGK1! 🧤

What a day! 🙌🏻

I’m incredibly proud to have completed my first ever LAGK1 Goalkeeper Day, in collaboration with Larkhall Athletic 💙

A fantastic day of goalkeeper coaching, challenges, competitions and, most importantly, plenty of fun! ⚽️🧤

This is a huge milestone for LAGK1 Goalkeeper Coaching and something I’ve been working towards for a long time.

A massive thank you to Larkhall Athletic FC for their support and collaboration, James Walker for some superb coaching, to all the goalkeepers who attended, and to the parents for putting their trust in LAGK1.

🧤 Plyometric work with young GK Tajus

This drill is all about learning to land safely first, then using power and speed to move his body efficiently.

We focus on:
• Soft, controlled landings
• Strong ankle, knee & hip alignment
• Exploding out of the movement with intent
• Landing into his ‘Set Position’ to catch whilst balanced

Building these foundations early helps goalkeepers move faster, react sharper, and stay injury-free as intensity increases.

2025 Coaching Recap ⚽️🧤

As the year comes to an end, I just want to take a moment to say thank you.

To and - your support this year has meant a huge amount. Backing, belief, and trust like that doesn’t go unnoticed, and I’m genuinely grateful to be representing brands that care about development and standards.

To the goalkeepers I’ve worked with - your effort, consistency, and willingness to learn is what makes coaching worthwhile. Watching your confidence, performances, and mindset grow week by week has been the highlight of my year.

To the parents - thank you for the trust, the early mornings, the lifts, and the constant encouragement you give your kids. None of this works without you behind the scenes.

And to my fellow coaches - thank you for the conversations, the support, the shared ideas, and the constant push to be better. Iron sharpens iron.

2025 has been a year of growth, learning, and laying foundations. I’m proud of what’s been built and excited for what’s coming next.
