🧤 Plyometric work with young GK Tajus

This drill is all about learning to land safely first, then using power and speed to move his body efficiently.

We focus on:
• Soft, controlled landings
• Strong ankle, knee & hip alignment
• Exploding out of the movement with intent
• Landing into his ‘Set Position’ to catch whilst balanced

Building these foundations early helps goalkeepers move faster, react sharper, and stay injury-free as intensity increases.

2025 Coaching Recap ⚽️🧤

As the year comes to an end, I just want to take a moment to say thank you.

To and - your support this year has meant a huge amount. Backing, belief, and trust like that doesn’t go unnoticed, and I’m genuinely grateful to be representing brands that care about development and standards.

To the goalkeepers I’ve worked with - your effort, consistency, and willingness to learn is what makes coaching worthwhile. Watching your confidence, performances, and mindset grow week by week has been the highlight of my year.

To the parents - thank you for the trust, the early mornings, the lifts, and the constant encouragement you give your kids. None of this works without you behind the scenes.

And to my fellow coaches - thank you for the conversations, the support, the shared ideas, and the constant push to be better. Iron sharpens iron.

2025 has been a year of growth, learning, and laying foundations. I’m proud of what’s been built and excited for what’s coming next.

At LAGK1 Goalkeeper Coaching, it’s more than just training, it’s about creating an environment where keepers can learn, improve, and enjoy every session.

🤝 Collaboration Announcement: LAGK1 x The Clean Sheet 🧠⚽

We’re proud to announce a powerful new partnership between LAGK1 and The Clean Sheet, a mental health non-profit organisation committed to supporting wellbeing through football.

At LAGK1, I believe in developing not just better goalkeepers—but better people. This collaboration brings mental health awareness, education, and support directly into the heart of my goalkeeper coaching sessions.

Together, we aim to:

🧠 Normalise mental health conversations within the football community
🧤 Support young goalkeepers on and off the pitch
💬 Provide access to workshops, resources, and 1-to-1 support
🌱 Build a positive culture of growth, resilience, and mental strength
