Another successful Emotional Well-being and Self-Care Workshop delivered in partnership with

“You can’t pour from an empty cup” a large portion of my clients come to me feeling the effects of burnout from their job and lifestyle. We run these courses to educate for a better work/ life balance.

And just like that, 11 years at David Lloyd has come to an end 😢

Some people just see a gym when they go to train but David Lloyd will always have a place in my heart. In this “gym” I qualified as a Personal Trainer, got my first personal training job, tried my first Les Mills class and got trained for my first Les Mills Instructor role, became a Blaze instructor, met some incredible members and made some friends who are still in my life today and much much more.

Thank you to anybody who helped in my DL journey, you know who you are! Thank you to the wonderful members who worked hard every time, even with an evil glare in my direction 🙊🤣 I will miss every single one of you.

Time to move more of my attention to building Awesome Fitness to the next phase and creating healthier, happier, stronger and fitter world 🌍🤩

⭐️ The difference a year can make ⭐️

The fitness industry loves a transformation. One of the reasons I’m in this business is the human ability to change and adapt to better yourself for a situation. The human body is amazing, resilient and capable of achieving the most incredible things.

So why am I so proud of this transformation? Did I follow the latest fad diet? NO. Did I learn a new exercise? NO. Did I buy the latest fitness gadget? NO.

I listened to my body. What did my body need? Recovery, sleep, less exercise, self care, meditation, love and a whole load of support from close friends and family. It wasn’t a fast transformation, but my body let me know when I was ready.

Never underestimate what your body is trying to tell you. Are you hungry, thirsty, in pain, fatigued? Listen to your body 🤩
