The 2016 University of Bristol Boat Club (UBBC) Head Race will take place on the 3rd December 2016. It will be held in a time trial format on the river Avon, with 2 divisions. The first division is intended for experienced rowers, and the second division for beginner rowers in eights and fours and experienced oarsmen in small boats. Division 1 will be raced over 3000m downstream and accept entries

in the following categories:

Championship/Open: 8+, 4+/-/x, 2-/x, 1x
Intermediate: 8+, 4+

Experienced coxes only as there is a tight bridge to navigate on the course. Division 2 will be raced over 1300 m downstream:

BEGINNER: 8+, 4+
CHAMPIONSHIP: 2-/x, 1x

Entry fees for this year's race are still to be confirmed. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest crew in each category with more than 3 entries. Multiple entries are allowed as per BUCS regulations. ENTRY INFORMATION
