South Gloucestershire Karate Academy SGKA are Members of NISHINIHON Karate Association. https://nishinihonkarate.wixsite.com/nishinihon The style of Karate is Wado-Ryu.

Ivor Thomas 7th Dan Chief instructor has been
training for over 40 years in Karate and over the time has won numeours awards and has been recognised for his dedication.to the Martial Arts .Training is Wednesday,s 6.30pm - 8.00pm All Students & Fridays 6-30 to 7-30pm Children only & 7-30 to 8-30 pm Adults Only at Patchawy Community centre, Rodway Road, Patchway. There is a Structure/grading syllabus for students to follow where gradings are taken every 3-4 months. Also various courses and competitions are encouraged throughout the year.( but not compulsory ) All aspects of Karate are covered and also self defence. Everyone is welcome at this friendly club, regardless of age, sex, ability and fitness level. So come along and try it out.It is also a not for profit Club and Members of Nishinihon Karate Association who are members of the English Karate Federation who are the National Governing Body for Karate in England
