Severn Beach Dragon Tang Soo Do Korean style Karate teaching self defence, fitness, and other aspects of martial arts as well as improving well being. Who says there is a maximum age?

Severn Beach Tang Soo Do is a Korean Style Karate that is designed to engage everyone in improving their well being. We specialise in Self Defence, but what else can you learn?

We are not a bespoke childrens club, we take all ages from age 6 and up. No matter what you

r age, fitness level or body type we can ensure we tailor the classes to suit every single person - after all, be your own doctor! Class is a set £3.50 for the session. For junior grades and main class we finish at 20:00 to allow children to head on home (other wise it's too late!). Also - we do TWO LESSONS FREE! There is no monthly subscription, no yearly fee. No matter what you're doing, focus those eyes.

Both literally and metaphorically.

Literally - look where you're going, see the target, look where you need to go. Look up, and ahead, not down.

Metaphorically - look at the next grade, imagine yourself there. Look ahead further to where you want to be. Don't give up on your goals, whatever your aims or desires.

Whilst we also encourage and support fitness, patterns, sparring, and testing your mind with drilling (different techniques in different orders) - our focus is self defence.

Escaping locks, grabs, chokes.

So if this is something you're after learning - look no further.

We have an amazing bunch of senior grades who love teaching new people - and we don't have a maximum age. Join with your children, or on your own!

Top job last night everyone.

Special welcome to SBN Steve Hoydan who helped out last night - great to see you.

Huge well done to EVERYONE for the hard work and effort you put in.

Thanks to Lucy, Kerri and Isla for teaching last night, at only orange belt they helped coach white belts. Isla is only 7, and last night took on the role of teaching. Incredible.

We've been posting some serious things lately. About how important martial arts is, and how incredible our students are.

That stands, by the way. They are. Top banana.

But also, we're a bunch of crazy people who genuinely love what we do. We love being part of DTSD, part of the Beach, and being a team. We support each other, cheer each other on, and above all, we are united in the fact we genuinely just care about each other.

This club, and this association - Dragon Tang Soo Do - is more than just a martial arts club. It's a family, it's a way of life, it's a team of people who support you and cheer you on.
