"I feel more like the person I was before I lost myself."

Amy has made incredible progress over the last 12 months.

We had our review earlier this week and I couldn't help but smile.

Amy has gone from feeling like life, work and parenting had pushed her own health to the bottom of the pile…

To running for 27 minutes non-stop, setting PBs with the weights, dropping over 2 stone and, most importantly, feeling like herself again.

And we're just getting started.

When Amy first came to me, she was frustrated that her fitness, energy and confidence weren't where they used to be…

She used to do lots of sports and was super active.

She knew that feeling this way wasn’t “normal”.

She wanted to be a positive role model for her daughter and have the energy to do more together.

She understood she didn't need a quick fix. She needed a plan that fit her life.

Using personalised coaching, structured training and ongoing support, we focused on helping Amy build sustainable habits that she could stick to long term.

She learnt how to:

✅ Stay consistent without relying on motivation
✅ Fit exercise around a busy life
✅ Focus on simple habits that got results without feeling overwhelming

"I don't feel like myself in my body anymore.": It’s something I often hear people in Shirehampton and the surrounding areas saying.

And I want to do something about it.

So to celebrate the Summer Solstice, I want to do something special for the local community.

Ever since I qualified as a Personal Trainer, I've been committed to helping busy people over 40 feel stronger, fitter and confident in their bodies again.

Because it's so common that, without noticing it, people reach a point where they start avoiding things they used to enjoy.

Not because they’ve stopped caring about their health.

But because they replaced them with other ‘priorities’.

Exercise gets skipped because they don't want to be reminded that they’ve gone backwards.

Day-to-day life doesn't feel as easy as it used to.

Active weekends become something to make excuses for.

Even simple things like gardening and DIY can leave them feeling more drained than they used to.

And slowly, they stop feeling like the person who just ‘did things’.

So I want to help.

My goal is:

• To help 7 busy 40+ people feel stronger, more capable and confident in their bodies again.

• To educate people that getting older doesn't automatically mean slowing down.

• To show you how to improve your fitness, strength and energy levels without spending hours in the gym.

So I'd like to invite you down to my private training space in Shirehampton for a free 60-minute Personal Training and Coaching session.

What's the catch? There isn't one.

I'm simply trying to raise awareness of my business in the local area by doing something for free for the community.

When you don’t feel like yourself anymore, it doesn’t usually feel dramatic.

It just shows up in small decisions.

You skip training because you can’t be bothered feeling out of breath again.

You turn down active plans because you’re not sure how your body will cope.

You start choosing the easier option more often than you used to.

And slowly, without meaning to, your life gets a bit smaller.

You’re not being lazy.

You’ve just stopped trusting what your body can handle.

That’s the part most people don’t talk about.

Not motivation.

Not knowing what to do.

But not feeling confident in your own body anymore.

If you’re in that place, I’m currently looking to work with 3 people over 30 days in Shirehampton to rebuild that.

So you can feel:

– capable in your body again
– confident saying yes to active things again
– consistent without overthinking what to do
– like yourself again when you move

"I don’t feel like myself anymore."

That’s something I hear a lot from people when they first start working with me.

Not because they’ve stopped caring about fitness.

But because slowly, without noticing it, they start avoiding things they used to enjoy.

Training gets skipped because they don’t want to feel out of breath again.

Sport doesn’t feel as easy as it used to.

Active weekends start to feel like something you need to recover from. Even gardening or DIY can leave you feeling more drained than it should.

And slowly, it starts to change how you see yourself.

You stop feeling like the person who just did things.

And start becoming the person who thinks twice before doing them.

That’s the frustrating part.

Not that you can’t do it.

But that you don’t trust how you’ll feel if you try.

That’s usually the point where people come to me.

What most people actually want isn’t just to “get fitter”.

It’s to feel like themselves again.

To trust their body enough to just say yes again.
