For me, training is my therapy, and benefits my mind as much as my body. It’s a non negotiable part of my life.
I entered another Weighted Pull up and Dip competition before my life was turned upside down 6 weeks ago. Whilst I didn’t feel as strong or prepared as last time, I am so proud I competed yesterday.
I managed 25kg pull and 27.5kg dip, narrowly missing out on 26.25kg pull and 32.5kg dip.
It’s impossible to train perfectly all the time, life happens. But consistency is key, showing up and taking part, you don’t have to wait until you feel ready or you’ll be waiting forever!!
