This weekend we hosted our very first Bristol Girls Boxing Club Sparring Weekend and what a weekend ๐Ÿ˜.

A huge thank you to Team Dublin for travelling over with a team of 14 boxers and to Maria, Ericka and Ger for making the trip and helping create such a fantastic experience for all the girls involved ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Plus .k who we met in Sweden at Golden Girls and managed to tee this opportunity up ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช .

Weโ€™d also like to thank , , City of Gloucester, , Truth, and Tylorstown Club for bringing their boxers and contributing to such a positive day of learning and development ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ.

It was amazing to see so many incredible female boxers in one room, all supporting each other, gaining experience and sharing their love of the sport ๐ŸฅŠ.

For our Bristol Girls, it was a fantastic opportunity to experience different styles and watch some elite-level boxing up close. Days like these are invaluable for development and a reminder of how strong the female boxing community is becoming ๐Ÿš€.

Lessons, not losses ๐ŸฅŠ

Skye and Laila boxed today on the show.

Skye was up first against a taller opponent and came up against a difficult style and reach to deal with plenty to take away and learn from moving forward. Great experience in only her second bout.

Laila had a tough, close bout which ended in a 3โ€“2 split decision to the other corner. A nonstop bout which could have gone either way with some great boxing and brilliant effort from both girls.

Massive respect to both opponents ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

What a night for the girls ๐ŸฅŠ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Our first ever outing as Bristol Girls Boxing Club and they absolutely delivered ๐Ÿคฉ.

First up โ€“ Lacey in a skills bout, showing zero fear against a strong, taller opponent. A brilliant performance to set the tone.

Bella stepped in for her first bout and came away with a 3โ€“2 split decision win. Boxed beautifully, stayed relentless throughout against a tough opponent.

Cara, in her first full bout after skills, used her reach to control the distance, stayed sharp and secured a unanimous decision win.

Skye, making her boxing debut, channelled her nerves and dug deep, landing clean combinations to earn a 4โ€“1 split decision win.

Massive respect to all of their opponents โ€” great matchups all round ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ. Big thanks to Ken for having us on the Synwell Show ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ.

Could not be prouder of these girls. The work theyโ€™ve put in, the courage to step through the ropes and the way they represented the club ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

The support on the night was incredible โ€” thank you to everyone who came to watch and cheer them on. This community is something special ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ.
