Wow what a weekend for ODBC!!

Today 8 of our men took part in the GBA County 2 Rink, with a win over Cam Mills in the morning it’s was a Olveston vs Cheltenham final for the 2nd day running!

Amazingly the game went to an extra end and came down to the last bowl! But the O’s got it over the line to retain the cup!

GBA double the first time in the clubs history!

The Beginners Course is now full, but there are still places available on the Development Course for anyone who is looking to improve their Shot Play, Head Reading, Game Management etc.

Congratulations to Tom Ireland on winnings the GBA Gateway singles! Fantastic achievement in your first county title and surely not to be the last!

Also, congratulations to Toby Hardwick, Rob Smith and John Smallwood who won the GBA Benevolent Tripes after a nail biting extra end!

The club are extremely proud of you all 🏆🏆!

Commiserations to the ladies Rachel Winter-Alsop, Annie Muldoon and Gill Andrews who lost on the final end in their Benevolent Triples. A great season for the 3 of you.

ODBC Club Coach Ken Tudor will once again be running his popular Indoor Bowls Courses at Thornbury Active Lifestyle Centre, starting Monday 5th October.

Beginners Course | 7.00pm–9.00pm

Perfect for anyone looking to take up the sport, whether you’re completely new to bowls or just keen to learn the basics of a new sport in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Bowls Improvers & Development Course | 12.00 noon–2.00pm

Ideal for players who have been bowling for a year or two and are now looking to take the next step — improving their understanding of the sport, developing their technique and taking their game to the next level.
