This bike came in with its gearing 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 — and unfortunately, more oil definitely doesn’t mean happier gears! 😬

Too much lubricant attracts dirt, dust and grit, creating that thick black build-up you can see in the first photo. Over time, all that grime can actually 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.

As part of our 𝗠𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, we give the gearing a proper clean and get rid of all that built-up muck before lubricating it correctly. 🔧✨

We’re incredibly grateful to be this busy, but as you can probably see… Sully is rapidly running out of places to stand 😂

For the next couple of days we’re also going to 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 while Sully gets through what’s already here.

🚲 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 🔧

Well… so much for the summer holidays being quiet! 😂

You guys have been keeping Sully VERY busy and the workshop diary is currently 𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗘𝗗 𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗟 𝗧𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬.

We're now taking bookings for 𝗧𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗡𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦, so if your bike is due a service or you've got a repair you've been meaning to get sorted, drop us a message and we'll get you in the diary.

We hate turning people away and will always squeeze in the little jobs where we can, but booking ahead helps us make sure everyone gets their bike back when promised — without Sully having to move into the workshop permanently. 😂
