Our Mamma Bear, EDI & Wellbeing Liaison at BPC - it’s Francey 🪽🫶

‘In her corporate life, Frances (she / her) is a senior Diversity & Inclusion leader with over a decade of experience shaking up healthcare and higher‑education systems.

She specialises in trauma‑informed, lived‑experience‑led culture change and is known for influencing senior leaders, championing anti‑rac!sm, and creating spaces where people feel valued, safe and able to thrive.

Transferring this magic to the p0le industry, Frances leads with the same authenticity, empathy and community‑driven energy. As a neurodivergent, disabled, plus‑sized, pansexual dancer, she’s affectionately known as a mamma bear and wellbeing fairy - bringing care, creativity and a trauma‑informed approach to competitions and studios.

Frances has been pole dancing since 2022, running events to fundraise for the Bristol Scx Workers Collective, and has performed at showcases, modelled for polewear brands, and has competed. She’s a proud heels dancer who honours the scx werkers who created this glorious art form.

Frances is committed to making Bristol P0le Championships a space where marginalised dancers are uplifted, barriers are removed, and every performer can walk in and say: “YES, I BELONG HERE!”’.

Lock up your dads, folks! Elim Arthur Léigh (Elim Arthur Léigh (Mr Bit-Phalanx)) joins us for the first time this year for mic duty, as our host with the most (🍑)🎤

‘Elim Arthur is a p0le dancer, independent Music Industry professional, purveyor of spicier adulting matters, and general life-long creative Artfruit, and over the last few years has been doing the rounds as a showcase p0ler on such stages as UKPPC’s Glow (Brighton), Eden’s ‘The Garden’ showcase (London), the Heelfire Club showcase (Chipping Norton), Corrosion (Bristol), and proudly s|a99ing it up at the last PDSM Showcase in Birmingham last year.

To the surprise of no-one, Elim Arthur found himself on the mic as an emerging p0le compère three years ago, following the launch of the ExoQueen UK p0le competition in his home town of Coventry, where he’s been a student of the local Pole Elevation studio for the last four years.

As their now resident MC, Elim Arthur has branched out into hosting other showcase events and competitions across the UK, with a few more new compère appearances still due this year.
