🎉 Ten years ago I became a Zumba instructor and it changed my life. It was the reason I found the confidence to get all of my other fitness qualifications, and boosted my confidence in all areas of my life, it’s kept me fit, kept me happy, and I’ve met the loveliest people including other instructors and class members.
Looking back a decade my first few classes were so bad! I couldn’t look at anyone, I was just focused on not messing up! I had major imposter syndrome and always wondered what the hell I was thinking becoming an instructor. Now I have fun with my classes and I always look forward to them.
In bad times I’ve always had my classes to keep my smiling and motivate me to do something. I’ve had classes so busy that we don’t fit into the studio, and classes so quiet that I’ve doubted myself, a pandemic that put the fitness industry on hold for a year, and it was my classes that picked me back up after my mum passed away. They’ve taught me so much and I carry the skills with me in every day life.
I’ve had class members telling me how I’ve improved their bad days and made them smile, and I’ve watched them get more and more confident every week. I’m so grateful and I’m currently blessed with three amazing classes every week 🥰💃🏻👯♀️
On our ten year anniversary Zumba give us a free training to teach a different format. I’m trying to decide between Zumba Step or Zumba kids.
Come and try my classes at David Lloyd Bristol Westbury on a Monday night at 6:10pm, Move More Fitness on a Tuesday night at 7:15pm, or Greenway Centre on Wednesday mornings at 9:15am 🎊
