We’re helping spread the word for Made a Mark, who are looking to add to their small team of volunteer drivers.

Their volunteers help deliver memory boxes to bereaved children and families across England and Wales, helping the charity save valuable funds while getting boxes to those who need them.

The first-ever Old Down CC Women’s team took to the field yesterday… and only went and WON the Rockhampton Cricket Club Women’s 6’s! 🎉

A brilliant achievement from S Kendell, S Baker-Green, K Price, O Kirk, K Gander and M Kelly making their ODCC debut one to remember! 👏

A massive thank you to Linela for sponsoring the team’s shirts and to everyone who came along to support the ladies.

Another outstanding spell from Kaine Sargent, who tore through Hambrook Cricket Club batting line-up with figures of 5/12 from 8 overs, including 4 maidens! 👏

And it’s becoming a habit… this is Kaine’s SECOND five-wicket haul of the season! 🔥

A FIRST FOR OLD DOWN CC! 🏏

This Monday, for the first time ever, a women’s team will represent Old Down CC as they take part in the Rockhampton Cricket Club Women’s 6’s for what promises to be a fun afternoon of cricket!

📍 Boundary Field, Rockhampton
📅 Monday 31st August | ⏰ 2pm

We’d love to see plenty of Old Down support, so come along and cheer the ladies on! Any coaching tips will also be very welcome! 😂🏏

A great performance from the 2’s, bowling Hambrook Cricket Club out for 140 before chasing it down for the loss of just two wickets.
