So, I guess the secret’s out 🥹 🇬🇧
I’m completely honoured and absolutely blown away to have been nominated into the last four regional finalists for the Pride of Britain Award 2026
When I was first told about the nomination around six weeks ago, I honestly didn’t feel it was warranted. There are so many incredible people out there fighting for others every single day, and I kindly declined the offer, ITV encouraged me to reconsider and speak to those closest to me, so I spoke many close friends, it was Gaynor who convinced me, she was the one who explained to me that this nomination had actually started two years ago and it’s was something that Syd wanted - so I agreed to continue 💙
They came to film and secretly brought together some of my closest friends, who had arranged everything without me knowing—and now here we are 🥹 🇬🇧
I’m honestly lost for words, just want to take this opportunity to thank you all so much, for literally everything you have all done to support over the last 15 years and still continue to this day 💙
