This week we are hugely proud to award Pete his Yellow Sash after a successful grading. What makes this particularly remarkable is that Pete isn’t just any student. A British Army veteran who already holds a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, at 76 years young Pete isn’t one to relax. After 4 years training with Zhanshi Pete decided he would like to put his skills under the spotlight and grade. When not training in Kung Fu and unarmed combat you’ll find Pete lifting weights at Anytime Fitness Yate 3 times a week. Always the first to arrive at the training hall Pete has become a well respected member of the club and serves as an inspiration to us all. Well done Pete, much more to come I’m sure.
