We are pleased to announce we will be holding a seminar at Epic Portishead next month.

Saturday 12th September will see head coach Matt Roberts teach a seminar for adults followed by a seminar for children at the Hub Gym (Bs20 7bx)

The adult seminar will be from 9.30am-12noon and will consist of the following:
*principles of self defence & Total Combat
*The Psychology of a street attacker
*Situational awareness, confidence, versatility and exit strategies
*Fast and Effective striking and countering
*Choke and Head lock escapes
*The basics of street weapon survival
*Demonstration of live combat scenarios

Cost: £20 per person

The Child seminar will be from 12.30pm-2pm and will consist of:
*Principles of child self defence
*Stranger danger and effective responses
*Understanding and dealing with bullies
*Parent and child roles and responsibilities
*Reacting to playground situations
*Passive guard and counter movements
*Grab and hold escapes and releases
*Protecting and escaping from the ground
*Introduction to child self defence seminar certificate
