🏔️ Welsh 3 Peaks: June 2023 🏔️

This is the second time this year that we’ve led a Welsh 3 Peaks challenge and a huge congratulations to our successful team:

The total time was 13 hours 15 minutes and the breakdown was as follows:

Snowdon (via Llanberis Path)
3h 34m

Cader Idris (via Pony Path)
3h 10m

Pen Y Fan (via Motorway Route)
1h 37m

All other time was travel related

Challenge start time: 9.17am (09.17)
Challenge ended: 10.32pm (22.32)

Conditions: mixed with heavy rain and winds on snowdon, winds on Cader but a lovely sunset on Pen Y Fan!

Congratulations to our 3 warrioresses and we look forward to getting more people in touch with the mountains 🏔️❤️

🏔️ Meet 🏔️

Laith is a good man who has 2 daughters, owns a business but still finds time to achieve amazing things 💫

He has just completed the London marathon this year! He’s an avid runner and keeps his fitness sky high, which forms his base to be able to complete hikes with us 🏔️❤️

Laith loves the mountains and has so far climbed Snowdon via both the Watkin Path and the notorious Crib Goch in 2023. A day after scaling the Watkin path, conquering the highest peak in Wales… he was on the summit of the highest point in England! Scafell Pike’s summit was his 2nd of the 3 Peaks 🤩

Today we proudly sent Laith his Snowdon Adventure Passport in the post and it should be arriving in the post (with all the relevant paths ticked off) ✌️

Laith has also been a strong advocate alongside us on our trips for clearing up rubbish and fruit peels on these treks, thank you Laith… what a guy 🤩

☀️🏔️ Pen Y Fan

Well done to our team who made their way up to the summit on a beautiful summer’s day in Bannau Brycheiniog yesterday 😍

The rolling hills, iconic summits and beautiful surrounding towns were a fantastic visual for our team ✌️🏔️

We summited Pen Y Fan as a team and successfully got a 2-year-old on the highest peak in South Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Well done on those who also ventured across to summit Corn Du and make it 2 for the day 🔥

We are grateful to our team members who assisted in taking down bags full of other people’s rubbish again. We help to clean up the mountains but it’s heartbreaking how much is left up there 💔

🏔️ Success in the sun, in Snowdonia 🏔️

Today all of our clients successfully summited Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon via the Ranger Track, earning the Ranger Track stamp and signature in their SNOWDON PASSPORTS ✌️🏔️

The Ranger track is believed to be the oldest of the 6 classic tracks and it’s certainly not the easiest! We had to queue for an hour on the summit for a picture 😅

Ever wanted to complete the National 3 Peaks but thought it would be too hard?

Ever wondered how to train towards an event such the National 3 Peaks?

Maybe you want to put something in the diary to work towards, something worthwhile but can’t think of anything?

The Welsh 3 Peaks isn’t easy but it’s a lot easier than the National 3 Peaks! 🤩

Join us as we host the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge (24H) on June 24th 2023! We will pick everyone up from the designated start point in Bristol, before transporting you down the spine of Wales (north - south) ticking off the 3 iconic peaks:
• Snowdon
• Cader Idris
• Pen Y Fan

Before delivering you back to the drop off point to end your challenge. All of the transport on the day will be taken care of and we will be making sure that everyone is safe, happy and successful as we bring another goal within your grasp 😍🔥

12 team members maximum on this, once the places are gone then they are gone.

It was the nicest day of 2023 so far and we were rewarded with beautiful clear skies for 50 miles in each direction ☀️👀

All 13 of our clients were successful on their climb and summited the beautiful Cader Idris, above the town of Dolgellau in South Eryri ✨

🏔️✨ Discover Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa ✨🏔️

Snowdon (welsh: Yr Wyddfa) is the highest point on land in Wales. It’s an iconic peak which overlooks the surrounding towns and valleys and has 6 classic paths up to its summit 🏔️

You also have the notorious ridge line Crib Goch, that is a grade1 scramble that encompasses 3 of the Welsh 3000 mountains 🏔️🏔️🏔️

Our have pioneered the mountain passport system and our Snowdon passport is the very first one to come into play. These will be launched for next weekend’s trip to Snowdon 😍

We will be ascending the Ranger Track and this will give people the chance to earn the stamps in the passport and build towards your customised hoodie and discount codes for when you complete the inner page 🏔️🐐

Another amazing day in the mountains as we continue to help people tick off their bucket list items, explore the great outdoors, achieve goals, promote wellness and do our good in cleaning up the mountains on the way 🏔️❤️

Our organisation isn’t just about mountains or the great outdoors.. it’s about our clients and we were thrilled to see them all take another step into completing their EPiC Snowdon Passports 😍

These are just some of the incredible photos we got up there, there are lots of funny videos and memories to take back. Our clients had their professional level photographs back, capturing the incredible day we spent in the beautiful welsh mountains and they will have them forever 😍

Big shout out to our team, who followed our ethos in cleaning up the mountains as we go. We collected a whole carrier bag full of rubbish on the descent and handed it into the snack kiosk on the Llanberis path to throw. It’s imperative that people DO NOT litter on the mountains so we applaud our team for helping us to pick up all that rubbish on the way down! 👏🏻👌
