MMA, K-1 Kickboxing and Boxing classes all run on our second mat space. Ran by DBS checked coaches who have all tested their skills in competition.

This morning we took jiu jitsu into the classroom.

We ran a self defence and jiu jitsu session with the girls at Red Maids’ School, one of Bristol’s most established independent schools, and the energy in the room was brilliant.

No experience needed. Just curiosity, a willingness to move, and the understanding that knowing how to protect yourself is something every young woman deserves.

Jiu jitsu teaches more than technique. It builds confidence, body awareness, and the kind of calm under pressure that shows up everywhere in life.

Self defence skills for life. We had a great time working with Clifton High School’s Year 13 today, teaching them jiu jitsu and showing what jiu jitsu can do for them. They were enthusiastic, fully engaged and learned quickly!
