Well done to Jaye Cook for receiving a WEMA Spirit award. It was presented to him last night by Sensei Roy Lewis.
Jaye has shown fantastic dedication, hard work and bravery with recovering and rehabilitation from an operation. Having his legs and feet broken, reset in 8 different locations and learning how to walk again.

Was great to have Sensei Roy Lewis join us last night for a heavy contact session. A big emphasis on the roots of traditional karate and perfecting techniques, strength building and delivering and taking hard blows.
I am pleased I had head gear on when he demonstrated😅👍👍
Another brilliant session from a highly experienced instructor.

Excellent session tonight by Sensei Neil Lewis 5th Dan.
Started with skipping, stretching, press ups and a good abs workout.
Moved onto several rounds on punch bags and poor bob, then some combinations set out by Neil.
Next came defence work in pairs, which included footwork, slipping, ducking, etc and returning woth counters.
Finally into the ring for a good sparring workout. This included boxing against kicking, kick boxing against grappling and straight sparring.
I personally had a great time sparring with Dylan, Jaye and Kieran.
I found out when sparring Kieran Lewis that good fighters are definitely part the families dna.👍👍
