2025–26 will be remembered as the year, “embrace the journey.” My former coach used to say that to me all the time.

This is the definition of that. In my first session with the team, it was clear I had a shy, quiet, yet hungry and determined group ready to attack the season.

Coming out of our first five games of the season—an amazing start! Then we lost our first game, and it brought us together as a group. The connectivity, camaraderie, and communication only grew from this moment. And you guys responded by going undefeated for the rest of the season, averaging a 27-point win margin.
Most notably, a team we beat by 1 point in the season—in the reverse fixture at the end of the season, we won by 46 points, an illustration of the team’s development. Improving game by game, can we be the team that’s improving across the season? Yes, we won, but I’m so proud of each individual on our team who improved this year.

To see each player improve and grow in confidence, individually and collectively as a group, was special to see 👏🏾

Massive shout out to parents, I had an unbelievable group. You showcased your passion and support each game; your presence doesn’t go unnoticed!

This group will always be special to me because it was my first team coaching at 💯

I want just to take the moment to express my appreciation to & for the opportunity to work as a basketball specialist coach.

In this role, I was responsible for delivering engaging and enjoyable basketball sessions in primary schools across Bristol- introducing the game to young people and helping to grow participation and awareness at grassroots level. It’s been incredibly fulifiing to see my passion, energy, and love for the game reflected in the excitement of the children I’ve coached.

I’m eespically proud of the students I’ve coached have been inspired to continue playing basketball. That’s what it’s all about!

I’m hugely grateful to the team at BSF. I’ve built strong relationships with some amazing people- many of whom I now call good friends beyond the workplace. Thank you all for supporting me and helping me grow into a better coach and teacher.

When it comes to grassroots coaching, I believe the ultimate goal is this: can you inspire a child to want to come back for the next session? For me, it was always about making sure my energy, passion and knowledge laid the foundation for every session- and I can proudly say I stayed true to that.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time coaching at .basketball camp this May half term!

Amazing to witness the continued growth of talent in Bristol — the passion, energy, and hunger to improve was top-tier.

Our team of coaches brought the heat, pushing the campers to their limits while challenging them to become the best versions of themselves, both on and off the court. Grateful for the opportunity to pour into the next generation of hoopers.

I’m really enjoying the opportunity to coach my first men’s team, Emprees B, in the WEBBA competition. The group is developing well, and after four games, we have a 2-2 record, including a close game against the second-placed team. It’s a testament to the players’ commitment and focus as we continue working to improve as a unit. Shoutout to Owen with presenting this opportunity to me 🙌🏾🏀

I’m proud to share that I’ve recently been appointed as the head coach of 2nd Team basketball team. A role that allows me to give back to the game I love and make a difference in the lives of young athletes. Yesterday’s game was a meaningful for me, as it marked a significant moment in my coaching journey. I had a chance to coach against someone who was once my mentor and huge influence on my player development as a player in my first year in the Worcester Wolves program. I’m forever grateful for the time and guidance invested in me. It was great game with both teams putting in solid efforts!
I also want to express my gratitude to God for this opportunity to positively impact these young players and help them reach their full potential on and off the court!

Start 2025 with a throwback! The beginning of my coaching journey back in 2019—I couldn’t have asked for a better group to start with. I feel extremely blessed to have coached these individuals and to have watched them grow on their own unique journeys. Always grateful for the opportunity to work with this group and proud of everything we achieved together. ⭐️

This year I was given the privilege of being U15s Head Coach of South West girls programme. It was amazing to be part of the Talent Aspire Programme.

Special thank you to the girls, you was a pleasure to coach, your ability to adapt on the fly and communicate effectively was joy to being a part of!

In addition to this, shoutout to all the coaches that I have met along the way you have definitely made me a better coach. Lessons learnt I can draw away from and apply in my own coaching journey.

Good luck to the girls who got nominated for central, complete the mission🫡
