Ten years of Community of Purpose. One room filled with so many of the people who helped make it possible. 💜
Last night at Belmont Estate was a chance to celebrate, but more importantly, to say thank you.
Community of Purpose has never been built by one person or one organisation. It has been shaped by young people, schools, businesses, volunteers, suppliers, our team, Board, advisers, families and the people who believed in what we were trying to achieve before there was any proof it would work.
Over ten years, more than 13,000 young people have been part of our journey, alongside 689 businesses, with 402 returning to support us again. But the numbers aren't the story. Behind every one is a relationship, an opportunity, a conversation or someone choosing to step forward.
And through the successes and the difficult moments, that community has continued to show up.
These aren't just our numbers. They're Bristol's. This is our story, but it's yours too.
Thank you to everyone who joined us last night, to Belmont Estate for hosting us, and to every person who has played a part in the last ten years.
We don't know exactly what the next ten will look like. But we do know that when good people, young people and opportunity come together, so much becomes possible.
