You might not expect me to say these things but here we go …
⭐️ Aiming for the “perfect routine” will be causing unnecessary stress and pressure on you and your child.
You do not want to be tied to the house or forcing naps for hours on end. You want to have flexibility and feel confident about it!
⭐️ The comfort and support you are giving your child might be making them more frustrated and touched out…
It’s not about giving less comfort, it’s about giving the right comfort for your child.
⭐️ You are likely to be over complicating things. Trying everything and mixing up your patterns and approaches is likely to be making everything harder for you.
You’re desperate, tried changing naps, bedtimes, settling patterns, feeding patterns, nothing is helping. The problem is, that is very complicated and confusing for your child, causing more push back and frustration.
⭐️ Your child isn’t being difficult, they are communicating their needs and craving the right form of connection.
It’s my job to teach you what to look out for and how to support your child in the best way.
⭐️ One of the best ways to improve sleep is to focus on how you engage with your child during their awake times.
Arguably, awake times are more important than sleep times when trying to improve your patterns.
⭐️ It is easy for me to recognise if you have been following my advice consistently and if things have slipped a little.
There are always signs, always a reason for blips or slower progress. My job is to help you feel confident and ensure you are being consistent in order to maintain that progress with my support.
There are so many things that impact your success with improving sleep. My job is to make sure all of them are covered and you have all the tools and knowledge you need to go and smash it, achieving your end goal much sooner than you would expect.
