🏆 LEAGUE ACTION IS BACK! 🏆

Worle Rangers Ladies 0️⃣ – 4️⃣ SWFC Vixens 💛🖤

What a way to start the season! A top performance from the Vixens today as we returned to league action and put our first 3 points of the season on the board! 💪

The team started the game with just 10 players and had no substitutes for the entire match, but that didn’t stop the women from putting in an absolutely flawless performance from start to finish.

Every single player gave 100% out on the pitch, winning every ball and giving the opposition very little opportunity to get anywhere near our goal. There were some fantastic goals scored, but above all, it was a real team performance. The women worked brilliantly together, kept possession, made the ball do the work and showed exactly what this team is capable of. 👏⚽️

It feels good to be back in league action and to start the season with a win! There’s a big season ahead for the Vixens, and this was certainly the perfect way to get things underway. 💛🖤

🏅 MANAGERS VIXEN OF THE MATCH – BIANCA 🏅

A huge congratulations to Bianca, who put in a quality performance on her competitive debut for Sporting! She capped off an excellent display with two brilliant goals to get herself off the mark for the season. ⚽️⚽️

Calm, composed and confident throughout, it looked at times like the ball was stuck to her feet with the way she was dribbling! A fantastic start, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings. 👏💛🖤

🏅 PLAYERS’ VIXEN OF THE MATCH – MILLIE 🏅

A huge congratulations to Millie on a fantastic performance today, recognised by her teammates and voted Players’ Vixen of the Match! 👏

Playing at right back, Millie was strong, confident and outstanding throughout. She won her 1v1 challenges, used her pace brilliantly and showed great confidence going forward, making positive runs and attacking down the wing whenever the opportunity arose.

Millie has slotted into the back line like she has always been there and has settled into the team incredibly well. She brings fantastic ability, confidence and energy to the squad, and today was another brilliant performance from her! 💪⚽️

A huge team effort from every single player today. Onwards and upwards, Vixens! 💛🖤

📣 Match Report: Berrow FC Ladies 5 - 4 SWFC Vixens.
A thrilling, high-scoring battle ended in a agonizing 5-4 defeat against Berrow FC Ladies, but the Vixens left everything on the pitch in a deeply spirited performance.
Match Highlights
⚽️ Gem Jarvis (Manager's Vixen of the Match): Thriving in her new central midfield role, covering every blade of grass, putting in a top all-round shift, and setting up two goals with brilliant assists.
⚽️ Leah Dickson (Player's Player of the Match): Composed and strong in defense while actively guiding the younger players through a tough game. Even pushed forward for a stint as a striker and came agonisingly close to scoring.
⚽️ Vika (4 Goals): Absolute masterclass upfront, clinical in front of goal to bag all four of the Vixens' goals and keep the team in the fight until the final whistle.

A tough result to take after putting four past the opposition, but heaps of positives to carry into the next fixture! Well done everyone 🖤💛
