While movement is an important part of the practice, yoga also offers tools for navigating everyday life with greater calm, awareness, and compassion.
Did you know, for example, that the word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning "to join" or "to unite"?
Traditionally, yoga was never intended to be just a physical exercise. It is a path that helps bring body, mind, breath, and awareness into harmony.
In my beginner-friendly classes, we gently explore and fully honour yoga's authentic roots through movement, breath, relaxation, philosophy, and reflection.
A practice not just for the body, but for the whole of life...on and OFF the mat
