Following the events since our last update, the points have been tallied up again.

Leading the pack in the Primary & Junior league is Lazarus, with Barney hot on his heels.

Meanwhile, in the Youth & Senior league, Lauren keeps a distance out ahead of Faith in second place.

Congratulations to Dougie & Lazarus who both took part in the Doraibā Judo under 8s Festival this morning. Dougie won 2 out of 2 contests and Lazarus won 2 out of 3 contests with both boys scoring ippons in their contests. 🏅🏅

Congratulations also to Barney who took part in the level 1 competition which followed. 3 wins out of 4 and it was looking like a 3 way tie, but since Barney lost his contest by a Waza Ari and won all of the others by Ippon, it was a who beat who for the final medal positions which left Barney with the Gold medal! 🥇

Great work from all three boys and great Judo on display by them all.

Congratulations to Lazarus who took part in his first National training session today up in Kingsbury. Getting stuck right in with everyone he was paired with throughout the day.

Hopefully we can get a few more along to the next session on the 13th of September.
