WE’RE BACK!

That’s right! Swing Soc is back for another term of classes, taught by the amazing Marcus and Ella from After Supper Swing! Our weekly lessons will start up again Thursday 1st February, and is open to everyone! Whether you’re a pro swing dancer, still finding your feet, or just want to try something new and meet loads of friendly faces, these lessons are open for everyone so don’t be shy to drop by! Sessions consist of a beginner Swing lesson from 6-7pm, which is then followed by social dancing until 8pm, after which we head down to Falmer Bar for a drink and to hang out. If you have any questions please feel free to send us a DM.

-REMINDER OF BEGINNER CLASSES-
Hey everyone! Hope you’re managing to stay warm and out of the storm! Our weekly lessons are resuming as normal tomorrow (Thursday 9th November 2023), so feel fee to swing (sorry) on by!
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, also a reminder that these classes are open for everyone regardless of dancing experience.

Our second taster session begins today at 16:00 in meeting room one, Falmer House.
Thanks to everyone who came to this first taster session last week taught by Dani and Marcus.
Today’s session will be taught by Marcus and Sasha, as we continue the basics of swing dancing.

Hi all,

SwingSoc classes are taking a break for the next 3 weeks over Easter but we'll be back on the 27th April.

In the meantime there are some classes going on in town if you wanted to keep up your dancing:

Tuesday's:
Improvers class, with a paid social afterwards.
7:30-8:20pm at Brighton Trades Labour Club (16 Lewes Road).
Class £7 or £5 student, Class and social £9 or £7 student, social only £3.
Hosted by Swing City

Wednesday's:
Beginners & intermediates classes with a paid social afterwards
Beginners class 7-7:45pm, intermediates class 7:45-8:30pm, social 8:30pm
At the grand Central, nightingale room
Class £7, Class and social £10 or £7 for students
Hosted by JATS Jumpin' At The Seaside

Thursday's:
Beginners class, with a live band and free social afterwards.
7pm at the Bootlegger.
£7 or £4 entry for students.
Hosted by Swing Swing Swing @ the Bootlegger
