Rayment Cycles Rayment Cycles have operated from the same, but expanding location at Circus Parade, Brighton since the 1960’s.

The shop has both a large retail area for bikes, accessories and clothing and and extensive three bay workshop facility. As a team of five bicycle enthusiasts we have ridden a fair few bike miles between us, so you can be assured of a great deal of knowledge, experience and passion to help you in both bike sales and technical workshop problems.

We are open six days a week - operating extended hours every Thursday from 8am to 8pm. We are here to help.

We are currently on the look out 👀 for another Bike Mechanic to join our competent team.
A Cytec or similar qualification would be good, but personality, attention to detail and a strong work ethic are more important, as ongoing training and help is part of the job.
The position is Tuesday to Saturday with an immediate start.

Pic an oldie showing how our logo is based upon Bill Rayment’s original bike headtube decal for his hand built frames. I have recently learnt that he added wings as he apparently served as a Paratrooper in WW2! I wound be really interested to hear if anyone knows anything about the history of Bill and his shop, before he relocated to its current location when Circus Parade was built. I know very little, even though I began my working life here in the 80s 🚲

I sometimes forget that people maybe want to see inside the shop too, so here we are! Happy to say we have good stock levels at the moment, as managing range and variation has been a tough one over the past two years……It’s taken Suppliers a long, long time to catch up on the 6/7 month factory closures experienced in early 2020 and the bike industry works on very long lead times at the best of times! Want to test ride anything, here to help :)
