🔵 A Recently published peer reviewed study of almost ten thousand participants found that those who stop taking skinny jabs/ appetite suppressants returned to their beginning weight within 1.7 years.

It’s also worth recognising that all positive changes to cardio matabolic markers (Hba1c, fasting glucose, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol and triglycerides) were reversed too.

In addition it was noted that for those taking glp-1’s a programme of resistance exercise became more important not less, in order to maintain muscle and bone mass.

Its the compromise that is supportive of your goal that’s the problem.

2 beers = 500 kcals less next week across 7 days? Doable!

The cake = 400 kcals less next week across 7 days? Lose your snack on 2 afternoons? Doable.

A netflix binge one evening? = An extra 1000 steps tomorrow? Doable.

A meal out? 400 kcals more than planned = 1 extra workout and 2000 more steps on each Saturday and Sunday? Doable.

The missed workout? 3 sets of 1 additional exercise over the next 3 workouts and an hour of walking? Doable.

Energy balance, can be re-balanced using an approach of compromise. If we recognise all actions have a consequence we can change our actions to work in our favour.
