Please raise your objection to the request for the dredging gunk to be dumped on the marine conservation zone again. In what way is it a protected area if it’s not protected from this sort of thing?!

We need the consultation to know just how many people oppose the Marina’s application to keep dumping sediment on Beachy Head West Marine Conservation Zone. Public pressure is powerful. Your voice can make a real difference, and we urgently need your support.

Brighton Marina has applied for an interim dredging licence after its previous one was quashed after legal action from Sussex Wildlife Trust.

While it's wet and windy, you will probably be thinking about getting your scuba kit out of storage, (if you haven't been enjoying overseas diving!), check it all out, see if you need to replace or repair anything before we start diving off the South Coast again.

Exploring the Vale of Leven wreck earlier this year.
She is lying at about 24 metres to the South of Worthing in the Wind Farm.
Lots of life on this wreck, many different species of fish and crustaceans and, at the moment, it is possible to enter the wreck if you are careful.

Our new member, Katie, completing her diving training with one of our instructors, Ian at Wraysbury Dive Centre in July.
Train over the Winter months and be ready to dive along the Sussex Coast in Spring, marvel at the life on the reefs & around the wrecks and get up close to the Wind Farm.
Our rib is moored in Brighton Marina so local to Brighton & Hove, East & West Sussex & further inland.
