🌊 Swimming is so much more than learning to swim.

After yesterday’s experience, I’ve been reminded once again why water safety is such an important part of what we teach.

Children need to know what to do when things don’t go to plan — how to stay calm, float, call for help and get themselves to safety.

These are skills for life, not just skills for swimming lessons. ❤️

Take a few minutes today to talk to your children about water safety. You never know when they might need it.

🌅 A morning reflection…

Yesterday was a reminder of just how quickly things can change. What started as a normal family day at Kingston Beach became something we’ll never forget.
