It was this video, that made me want to pursue Iwama Aikido, I’ve watched it many times and never get tired of it. Saito Sensei was an absolute unit in the 1980’s.
You can see a lot of principles I try to teach in class, from the opening of class and Tai no Henko, to how we perform ikkyo and Shiho nage, irmi nage, Kotogaeshi, and Kokyu nage’s to Suwari waza Kokyu-Ho at the end of class.
