I always lead by example.

If you can’t do what you’re teaching others to do, you shouldn’t be coaching it. I’m sorry if you’re offended by this, but it’s something I truly believe.

I don’t mean being the strongest, the fastest or the fittest person in the room. It means living by the same standards you expect from the people you coach, showing discipline, staying consistent and continuing to learn.

I would never ask a member to embrace discomfort, remain accountable or put in the work if I wasn’t prepared to do those things myself.

A good coach doesn’t just tell people the way.

They show them. ✌🏼

Yes, we train hard. Yes, the sessions are challenging. But training should also be fun, social, motivating and something you genuinely look forward to.

I love creating an environment where people can push themselves, learn new skills, get stronger and leave each session feeling better than when they arrived.
