The Lionesses were something else yesterday!
Absolute grit, passion, and unity on full display - such an inspiration. All over the place, little Rogue groups were glued to the match, cheering them on like mad. We were just so proud to see a group of women celebrating each other’s strengths, lifting each other up, and going for it with everything they had.

It was inspiring. And honestly, it reminded us of what we love most about our team spirit.

Sure, it’s a different sport, but, it's women's sport. And strong communities of women lift up other women and celebrate their achievements!

It’s a friendly, so no pressure. Doesn’t matter if you already play for another team (there's not commitment or league conflicts) or haven’t picked up a stick in years. Just come along, meet some new faces, have a run around, and enjoy some good vibes and great hockey.

Is she done?!
We think so? But you never really know!
(She hopes so. She really hopes so.)

She’s smashed out 3 triathlons this year (so far?!)
✅ 1.55km swim (accidentally 2.2km)
✅ 66km ride
✅ 15km run
… and she's raised an incredible amount for our Pay It Forward Fund!

But there's still £100 to go, and we’re not giving up yet.

Every club has their way of ensuring that they acknowledge the financial struggles of their members. They do their best to plan for those from differing socioeconomical backgrounds to ensure they know they matter and they are valued. Some have funds, sponsorship, businesses that provide sport etc. We, on the other hand, do stupid things to fundraise i.e. cycling to Paris and triathlons.

Every pound helps ensure someone can keep playing the sport they love - even when finances are tough.

💙 £10 = A game for someone
💙 £20ish for a second hand stick and shin pads
💙 £30ish = A kit shirt
💙 £37.50ish = A month’s coaching, insurance + matches

We don’t have sponsors. We rely on community power - friends, family, colleagues etc.

It's all go this week!
Same as last week but a bit later and a bit warmer.

We’ve got the TWO great options:
Option 1 – Back to Hockey with Lewes
(7:15 PM – 8:30 PM at Southdown Sports Club)
Join the amazing Coach Alan for a fun, friendly Back to Hockey session. Great for building confidence, learning new skills, or easing back into hockey with a brilliant group of players.

Option 2 – Summer League
(7:45 PM at Blatchington Mill)
For those feeling more confident and looking for a challenge, we’ve got a game at featuring a mix of players from Rogues, and .
Fast-paced, fun, and competitive. This week it's the formidable UV Flicking Rainbows 😮
