Hi all . Come and join us ....Sea wall striders sessions in Brightlingsea at the outdoor swimming pool
Monday 930 am
Tuesday 7pm
Friday 930 am
The sessions will be £2.50 per head but first time session will be free .
Sessions are suitable from absolute beginner to seasoned runners.
Getting outside and moving is not only good for your physical health but it is proven to massively help with mental health.
Get moving and meet new friends.
I am a cirf ( coach in running fitness ) a personal trainer and have a lot of personal experience of being a plus size girl with the struggle of having kids to juggle .
It’s not always easy but you feel so much better afterwards.
Come and give it a go x

For losing weight, fixing what you’re gracefully shoving down your pie hole is the most important thing to get right.

But there's a problem with losing weight with just diet, or even diet + cardio...

You may be losing weight, but it doesn't mean it's the RIGHT kind of weight.

Here’s what I mean...

When people say, "I wanna lose weight,” what they really want is to LOSE FAT

Eating in a calorie deficit helps you lose weight — much of which will be body fat...

But(t🍑) it won’t all be fat.

Chances are, you'll end up losing muscle too 😢

And trust me…

You do NOT want to lose muscle while you’re dieting! ❌

Reason being, muscle helps you:

maintain a faster metabolism ✅

more easily lose fat ✅
-
build an overall healthier & leaner body ✅

All that’s why lifting weights is so friggin' beneficial!

Not only will it help you maintain the muscle you have, but you’ll likely end up building muscle & losing fat at the same time!

The scale might not drop as quickly, but the weight you DO lose will end up coming mostly (if not entirely) from fat, and you'll have an easier time getting rid of fat you’re holding in “trouble areas.”

NOTE 📝: You don't have to be a bodybuilder or powerlifter to lift weights...

What matters is that you're challenging your muscles & progressing over time. If you're getting stronger — using more weight, doing more reps, etc. — it's a good sign you're building muscle 💪
